Who we are

It's amazing how a small idea can turn into something truly special. The Hong Kong Italian Women's Association holds the belief that we all have a responsibility to make a difference in the community. With a variety of projects under our belt, we leverage our capabilities and resources to successfully achieve our goals. Since its birth in 1996, the association has welcomed Italian and non-Italian women interested in our friendship, language, culture and the various activities we offer every month. In fact, we organize a wide range of activities: socio-cultural meetings, play groups for children, excursions, conferences, cooking courses, yoga and much more. In this way we allow members, as well as women who have recently arrived in Hong Kong, to meet regularly in a quiet and familiar environment. Furthermore, IWA often collaborates with various women's organizations and associations in Hong Kong. In addition to social gatherings, our association's ultimate goal is to raise funds for various charities in Hong Kong and Macau that need our support to complete various important projects. Our achievements in recent years and the impact of our endowment funds reflect our dedication and growing commitment to those who need it most.
